We're in the doldrums right now, but the season is inching closer. What do you think the Capitals goals will be this season, and more importantly do you think they can attain them?

I think they're probably a bottom 5 team in the conference for sure, but there's still a tiny part of my brain that thinks that maybe, just maybe they could make a run at a playoff spot. Assuming the big guys turn up and the team stays healthy, but given that they're basically the oldest roster in the league I'm not convinced that's realistic.

I think there's a way this team can suck and Ovi can get his goals. It might not be fun to watch, but tbh I think we're past that point now.

I'd put them bottom 2 in the league to be honest. They're gonna be that bad with Kuzy gone.

Had to have a quick Google then cause I legit thought he'd been traded.

I'm not sure he goes. I can't imagine the market is all that big for him, especially with that contract.

The Caps could get a decent pick if they ate half of it. Besides, they're 10+ years from being contenders anyway.
