All things green, outdoors, and nature-y. Whether it's animals in their natural habitat, hiking trails and mountains, or planting a little garden for yourself (and everything in between), you can talk about it here.

See also our Environment community, which is focused on weather, climate, climate change, and stuff like that.

Actively seeking commissions @ woodgrainterrain.com. Have you a connection a favorite part of this planet? I can make you a custom one-of-a-kind carving of your location. I'm a former wilderness guide with a masters degree in environmental education and I carve using a solar-powered workshop in rural Kentucky, USA. Meeting new people and making new connections are the best part of my work.

Looks like Lemmy automatically mislinked the URL in your intro. Here's a fixed version: woodgrainterrain.com .

Neat idea. I wonder if you could use fudge as a medium? Seems maybe workable with cold conditions and a hard fudge recipe, though I dunno how fast the CNC tool bit might clog.

Thanks for fixing that! And if the fudge were cold enough to actually carve, I bet it'd work just fine.
