After 11 years on reddit, and seeing it completely lose its identity it was founded on, I am stoked to be a part of this and learn as I go about this improved alternative. I believe this is going to change social media, as the giants collapse on themselves.

So glad you're here! Agreed that Reddit has lost its way as a platform. I'm very excited to see how Lemmy develops! There were so many tech savvy people on Reddit I don't doubt it comes on leaps and bounds in the coming months.
Thanks! I really hope this takes over, but it will take time and i am okay with that being slow and having a period where it is still small and organic as reddit when i first joined!
