Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! ✈️

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! 🇵🇭

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

Edge actually does perform better than Chrome, they actually managed to optimize a Chromium-based browser.

Chrome looks cleaner, ~~but extensively tracks you everywhere with their Google trackers~~ Oh wait, Edge doesn't block Google's doubleclick.

I agree. My work involves having 15+ tabs open and Chrome turns my laptop into an unusable turtle or, worse, puts the tabs on sleep and refreshes when you move to it. Edge isn't the best, but does handle that a lot better.
