People say this all the time. Honestly, I don't see it. I've been following PP since he was the youngest member of parliament sucking up to Harper. He and Trump are very little alike. Things can be bad in more than one way, sheesh. PP is a career politician. He comes from a completely different world. Has a completely different history. Saying he's just like Trump does not give one any insight into what needs to be done about PP.

PP frequently copies Trump's rhetoric and election issues word for word. Saying he and Trump are very little alike is asinine.

Personally, likening Poilievre to Harper is just as damning, recognises our home grown shit, we've been pretty good at exporting that globally unfortunately (Harper + IDU, McInnes + Proud Boys, Peterson, shit I went to Queen's so I'll even toss Musk in there)
