Considering moving from my H1 to a Fractal Terra and will need a new cooler. My GPU is a Radeon 6800xt so it’s only two slots and I’ll have room to maximize my cpu cooler. Which would you choose between the two?

I made this switch not too long ago.

I went with the L12S and haven’t had any issues on my 5900x.

Heard good stuff on the other website about this though.

Switch from Terra to H1? Or AXP to L12S?

In my H1 my gpu idles in the high 50’s to low 60’s and gets up to 90-100c while gaming. I hate it.

How are your temps in the Terra? is the noise tolerable with the air cooler under load? Do you have a second fan located under the PSU? If so, you running it as intake or exhaust?

From H1 to Terra.

I feel you on the temps, they were terrible even with the panel risers I picked up.

Temps are good, I have not paid a ton of attention to CPU temp, but I don’t even notice the fan spool up (thanks Noctua). As for GPU, I’m not sure about undervolting on AMD but I’d recommend it. Currently getting peaks of 74° under full load with my undervolt profile. Fan noise isn’t bad imo, ymmv, my fans ramp up to 75% and I don’t notice them over the game sound.

I do not have the exhaust fan in. I have an sfx-l psu so my connectors are too far down to mount it, sadly.

Edit: If you were able to add the aux fan, general consensus seems to point as exhaust being better.
