Zen browser is an open source project based on Firefox, there's no company behind it, just random people all over the world.
As of a few weeks ago it is correct
Before that it was all one dude maubg on reddit. Dude is Spanish for as much as I could find out.
I found Zen when it was pre alpha. Because I loved Arc but didn't like how the browser company pushed Ai.
I was never a browser poweruser, but zen has made me one. Really loving it so far coming from Firefox.
Really love(d) using it too the last week, but I can't live with the horrendous font rendering. Especially small/thin or light text on dark background (darkmode themes). Luckily the latest FF releases are adding a lot of vertical tab related functionality, theres tab groups and you can hide the title bar now.
