Is there any European alternative to smartwatches like Apple Watch or Garmins?

~~Suunto is a Finnish brand. I don't know much about them, but I'd explore them once my Garmin reaches the end of its lifecycle.~~

Edit: Suunto was sold to a Chinese company, read the reply to this comment.

In other context people told, that Suuonto was sold to a Chinese company in 2022. I just found the matching source.

And no... their webpage didnt' include that info direclty, but I assume that part of the operations still takes place in Finnland.

I use the Suunto Race S, really good watch especially for running, cycling and in the gym. Its more a sportwatch with a few handy features but not a real smartwatch. The sleeping and HR are pretty good for me.
