Gloves for wind/rain/cold protection (lemm.ee)

I'm intending to buy some gloves to use for commuting on cold days. I'm looking for something wind-proof, fairly light, and hopefully a bit water resistant.

Here are three sets of gloves that I've been looking at:

Outdoor Research, commuter windstopper gloves
Arc'teryx, Venta gloves
Rab, Vapour-Rise gloves

I don't really know if any of those are good options. But they seem roughly what I'm looking for.

I'm wondering what gloves other people wear, and if you have any recommendations.

[edit] Although the primary purpose of the gloves is for commuting; I'd also like them to be my general "go to" gloves for whenever they are needed when visiting cold places.

How cold is it in your area ? How long is your commuting ?

For a 20 mn ride I use ski gloves that I already had under 10°C with undergloves when <5°C, it is enough for whole winter here.

If you have a long commute and far below freezing conditions you may consider heating gloves, or check in motorbike gloves

What you described sounds about right for me. Thanks.

(~25 min daily commute, sometimes <5°C, but not often. And sometimes I'd ride longer for other reasons.)
