I suspect both people cheating all unlocks so they can play the game with all the damn items, and people playing/messing around with mods that make vanilla enemies/routes easier. I don't blame either.
Oh yeah, that makse sense. I do use the external item descriptions mod, but I don't see that as making the game any easier. Ok, just a bit easier as I'm less likely to take an item that'll mess up all synergy.
