Hey, I'm having an issue with usernames on Kbin through my Wordpress-connected ActivityPub website. (kbin.social)

So I help with a #TransPride website and wanted to implement ActivityPub into it allowing the Team to be able to write stuff on part of the Official Team.

To do this I'm using the ActivityPub Plugin on WordPress but it seems like the username get's cut off, is this due to the long domain or something else. Please help.

The username i'm trying to go for is: [email protected] (If I can remove the www. that would be great) but on here it seems to have ended up being @ww [email protected] what doesn't make sense as I'm not using kbin for the backend.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

@Millie From what I can tell about the ActivityPub stuff, Kbin seems to have a wacky way of adding users into the system as Lemmy & Mastodon has worked fine in finding the correct username of @Sam

My next step is to work out if I can remove the www. as it's just really annoying but it's not necessary in my case to much ig.
