Bots probably. Social media should have a "I'm not a bot" tests every so often.
The problem is that the smartest bots at this point can act more human than some of the least-creative and independent human beings.
It got the the point on reddit I started assuming anyone using an account created 2023 or later was a bot because so many of them were on the political subs. Probably should have been the clue to dip earlier but oh well I'm here now.
