A deputy asked Meister if he'd like them off his property. He said he let them stay the night, but that has since turned into a week – and a tent is now in the center of the lot.

Why did you let them stay on your property? That's insane to me.

it depends on the kind of property. some people own large meadows and they don't care if some weirdos picnic there or whatever, as long as they don't harm the animals. it's actually nice.
