I’m going to compulsively share my favorite Dr. Seuss fact in hopes that some of you want to share it with others.

His full name was Theodore Seuss Geisel. The correct (Germanic) pronunciation of his middle name is “Soyce.” When he was choosing his pseudonym, he specifically selected Seuss because it rhymes with rejoice.

Say it right. Be that guy. Do it for Dr. Seuss.

I learned about it in The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum in Springfield, Massachusetts. Definitely worth the stop if you’re a fan.
