Hero. The way things are going in the US I'm glad he wasn't imprisoned.

There were news stories about whether he was going to be charged. But, for what?

What he did is very clearly first-amendment protected speech. He could be fired, sure. He could be blacklisted as a performer, with nobody wanting to take a chance that he'd disrupt their performance. That's perfectly fair. But, it would be absurd to say that he broke a law.

Then again, we live in pretty absurd times.

The Heritage Foundation want any pro Palestine sentiment to be classified as Hamas Support and want to crush any expressions of support in civil society. Given they wrote project 2025 which is now being implemented in earnest I wouldn't be surprised to see this being rolled out.
