When I browse https://lemm.ee/c/[email protected] a lot of posts are missing compared to looking at https://lemmy.world/c/southafrica

Why is that?

I see the number 87, but if I scroll many posts are missing. Eg. https://lemmy.world/post/25506044

Yep. It can be annoying that it's this global setting, even though you sometimes want to see read posts, and you sometimes don't.
