Shopify President Harley Finkelstein told CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” Tuesday that the website’s owners “had an entire day” to prove they weren’t violating the company’s policies, “which did not happen.”

“The moment we realized this was not actually a real commerce practice, they weren’t actually engaging in authentic commerce, we pulled it down,” Finkelstein said.

The Nazi imagery wasn’t the problem for Shopify, it’s that ye’s Nazi imagery storefront wasn’t actually doing business. Had he been selling Nazi shirts, Shopify apparently would’ve had no problem with it.

Its not a crime to sell Nazi merch so they couldnt legally pull it down but if ye were breaking t's an c's then they can argue if needed in court. They can't come out and say we pulled you because you are a piece of shit.
