They really buried the damn lede here - those two women weren’t just publicly humiliated, they were gang raped. Ffs.
That headline makes it seem like something that was just horribly humiliating, not like the damn horror show it was.
Even the Indian media are being causiols on the reporting. Both the killings and the rape are reported as "alleged" either because of lack of evidence or they want to control the spread of the news further.
It is odd that they can't verify both allegations by the victim after nearly two months.
