The Ottomans were way better, TBH.

Military strength
Skillful diplomacy
International trade
Multi-religious
Multi-cultural
Good urban planning
Stable currency
Good education

It's like the Trumps coopted all the bad parts of the Ottoman rulers, while reading the whole page about the good parts of the empire side of things upside-down.
