it'll be alright, but if someone tells you to get on a boat, Don't. Especially if they haven't consulted the sacred chickens.

Forget naval warfare, just invade their ships with your land army.

Similar to how modern armies fight land wars with their air force.
The infantry is just there to paint the targets and dig through the rubble afterwards.
