The reason for this post is to point out problems with EVs. I like EVs. If no one points the problems how can things get better.

As long as we're reliant on personal vehicles to move around on a daily basis, the damage to not only our environment (both natural and built) and to our health will continue to be substantial no matter what energy source powers those vehicles.

"Sustainability" cannot be achieved in car-centric society. I suspect cars will always find purpose but they need to be the exception, not the rule. So long as they're the safest, most convenient and fastest way (often the only way) to get to work, get kids to school, pick up groceries and buy a quick meal, cars will always be everyone's first and only choice. And we will all suffer for it.
