Interesting, but it's not clear how controller input is achieved. No one is using the keyboard. Perhaps a bluetooth joystick?

Probably not achieved at all. Doom will just demo automatically.

They probably don’t need to move beyond menu because if you leave it running long enough a demo begins automatically. In-game credits at the end suggest that it’s a demo but I haven’t played Doom in ages.

Thanks, hadn't realised that's what the demo looked like. Assumed it would be short and loop.

Are you joking? Doom was built for a keyboard and mouse and most people believe it’s the superior way to play FPS games. Although I’m not sure how any controller interfaces with a dongle.
