This isn't just a privacy issue, the CVEs noted there is a way to remotely execute code. So maybe you're in the hospital, the government sees your name and vitals through their backdoor, search and find on social media that you've been saying some things they don't like, then remotely crash or disable your heart monitor when your vitals start looking funny and the medical staff at the hospital aren't notified...
