I'm looking for a recommendation on a high quality 2 or 3 meter USB-C /Thunderbolt cable used for data transfer and charging.

After yet another replacement Anker cable usb-c cable I’d really like to get cables that can last a few hundred cycles and I need a recommendation.

Are there any companies that make higher durability cables?

--Edit-- So far recommendations I have gotten are

  • Samsung
  • LCom
  • cable matters
  • Braided jackets
  • Power delivery of 25w or greater
  • Use magnetic disconnects

I've used LCom in the past when I need something in a harness, that I didn't want to ever have to replace. They have a 3m 20gbps 100w cable for about $20. I've never used their USB c cables though.

If you want 40gbps or 240w, you're limited to 1m though.

Just the fact they have their own site gives me bias towards that.

Is this the one It looks like it? https://www.l-com.com/Images/Downloadables/2D/CAU4CC-20M-3M_2D.pdf

Do you buy through their site?

They've got a list of authorized distributors (about-->authorized distributors) depending on your region.
