Nine countries have announced the formation of The Hague Group to coordinate legal, diplomatic and economic measures against Israel’s violations of international law.
The move comes as representatives from South Africa, Malaysia, Namibia, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, Senegal, Honduras and Belize gathered in The Hague on Friday in a meeting hosted by Progressive International, a global political organization comprised of activists and organizations worldwide.-
“We know that advanced weaponry cannot be built without technology, without materials, without components, from factories that span across continents. We know that they can’t be shipped to be used against the Palestinian people without using ports and logistics networks that are on each of our own soils and each of our own territories,” Gandikota-Nellutla continued.
I wonder if the UN can swing abolishing the security council?
Seems the rest of the world is not happy with China, the US, and Russia, and I don't blame them. France and the non-permanent members are probably getting more sympathetic to this.
In order to believe that, you’d have to believe that “the rest of the world” is the imperial core minus the US.
But the actual majority of the world—in terms of population, landmass, and natural resources—is not unhappy with China or Russia.
You know what I mean: the rest of the world other than Russia, China, or the US.
Even just going by that metric, that's mostly India+neighbors (who do not like China, and are mixed on Russia I think?), and populations that are not very sympathetic to any of the three vetoing everything anymore.
That's going to get more pronounced, as the US/China are not very climate conscious anymore, and Russia seems to low-key want climate change, while the rest of the world's population tends to be in very vulnerable areas.
China is one of the leaders in Green energy
India is very pro-Russia
Hmm. But they are not pro China, and not pro US, hence they'd still want to abolish the security council, no?
India & China recently patched up their major frictions, and don’t forget BRICS.

I don't think they patched them all
