What are moves you think should be done less and why? (self.SquaredCircle)

Safety? Overdone? Looks stupid?

What are some moves that you feel need to be used less (or not at all)?

German/Belly to Belly suplexes

Neck injuries and so much can go wrong once the wrestler is released. I remember reading someone saying they won't take Germans anymore and if you look back through history neck injuries started becoming more prevalent along with German suplexes. Same logic for Belly to Belly.

Spinning backhand/elbows

Looking at you Jericho and Kingston These look horrible and always will. Jericho has a plethora of moves and Kingston using any old school japanese finisher would work with his character.

The dive over the ropes and onto 10 guys that fall apart like bowling pins. It's unbelievable but it's not horrible, just way overdone IMHO.

If Adam Cole could do it without his feet touching the ground in a smooth motion it would be godly...but he's it looks dumb as is. I'm also going to say the BOOM is kinda meh because he has those tiny baby knees.

I totally get what your saying, I loved when Osprey tried to use the OWW and Kenny IMMEDIATELY got up off the one count and was just like no fuck that and fuck you. Not a burial but yes finishers should be protected unless part of the story.

Haha, I meant to say shouldn't.

Ospreay / Omega is an example of when it was done well. Ospreay was doing it to mock Omega, as it isn't a move he has ever done before so he didn't "do it right" and so Omega didn't "take much damage". That's fine.

What annoys me most is when someone takes a finisher and uses it as a transitional move, especially one that looks like it should be a killer.

This is where I think Ospreay has improved a ton, he used to be the king of flippy shit - which is great as a spectacle - but is now much better at the psychology of his matches.
