guns are pretty hard to get here. You need a license to buy any rifle and there are limits on the types of rifles you an buy. The license isn't hard to get, you go to a class, read a booklet, take a written test and if you pass you get a license. A pistol is much much harder. You need to join a club and participate regularly for at least six months and take numerous shooting and written tests. Your club has to vouch for you before you can get a license. There is also a thorough background check including interviews with with your neighbors and such. It takes roughly a year to get a license and buy a pistol.
In either case you need to buy a appropriate safe for your gun, this has to be installed in your house and has to be inspected by the police.
Your license also expires and need to be renewed. In the case of a pistol it can be revoked unless you visit your gun club at least once a month and sign in.
You can buy pellet guns without a license, you can also buy bow and arrows or crossbows without a license.
Ask me if you have more questions.
