This wiremin thing looks kinda sus. I haven't looked that deep but in a few minutes of browsing their website I haven't figured out who actually rund the nodes, they just say "it's like Bitcoin".
It says decentralized, so I don't think there is a node runs a specific server or instance like Lemmy
You still need people to run the nodes, can't have a network without any connected computers. Bitcoin and Monero are decentralized because people run nodes at home. I have not seen a way to run your own wiremin node.
I guess we need their source code to figure out that
No, we need node software. If there is no software for people to run, how are people supposed to run this "decentralized" network?
