  1. No bigotry. The Union, or at least the part of the Union WE support, fought AGAINST that shite. We are anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, anti-transphobic, and in general anti-bigot here, even if not all the lads in Union blue uniforms were.

I had to make the previous joke but this dude killed confederates aka warriors for slavery, broke from the party that supported abolition (arguably the party he fought in the civil war for!) to vote for Roosevelt and the new deal, then wanted to 1v1 Hitler at 100.

He was truly the perfect American lmao
