A community dedicated to the lowest quality facts.

While the community is named after the mastodon account Low Quality Facts it is not required to post related to that account. As long as the post is low enough quality, it belongs in this community.

A low quality fact could be a few things:

Examples:

"Louis Armstrong stored jelly beans in his trumpet, which he would discreetly eat during his performances."

"If you took a persons digestive system and stretched it out end to end, it would hurt a lot."

"Whales are notoriously bad trumpet players."

Posts can be in whatever form best displays the low quality fact.

There's actually a decent conspiracy about the Titanic actually being it's sister ship and was sunk for the insurance.

All "witnesses" to the sinking are either dead or demented due to old age. HOW CONVENIENT!!!!1one

Seriously though, I've met people believing that particular conspiracy. It's easily debunked because there are visible differences between, amongst other things, the bridge wing of the two ships. Olympic can easily be verified sailing in tip top condition much later than the sinking of the Titanic.

Yep, I was in a conversation with a group of people some of who believe this conspiracy and the others all gobbled it up without question. After which I found a lengthy video from Oceanliner Designs that solidly debunks it complete with evidence and expert testimony.
