Don't microwave coffee, dump and make fresh.
How wasteful.
Coffee brewers that have a hot plate under the carafe will burn and ruin coffee. The best method of keeping coffee fresh is to keep it in a sealed container (like a double walled carafe with a lid)
Microwaving coffee is actually a pretty decent way to re-heat it, but the taste will depend on how fresh it was kept prior
Burn and ruin? My god man, it’s veritable caffeine tarmac lining the intestines and pumping that blood like crazy. Taste bud plebs, the lot of them.
See, I like to actually enjoy myself sometimes, instead of just hating the world
And part of that enjoyment is good coffee. Fresh, locally roasted coffee, that I grind fresh each morning. I either take it black, or with a splash of milk, depending on my mood
Drip brewers are perfectly fine, so long as you don't use the hot plate. But the biggest impact on coffee flavor is the freshness of both the roast and the grind
Came here to say the same. Microwaving coffee is awful.
It's a liquid, it's not going to lose its crunchyness.
I put creamer in my coffee, no way in hell I'm microwaving my coffee with creamer. It's gross.
I usually use milk and it's fine, how does creamer compare?
I wouldn't microwave milk either. It just ruins the taste of the coffee microwaving it.
The problem with microwaving coffee is the fact that coffee goes rancid after heat or sitting out.

But I like it burned and ancient. Seriously. Used to go round the office and dunk all the dredges in my tumbler, dump 1/8 cup of sugar in there, ice it down.
