Do you still have eggnog with alcohol? In my country they always sell boxes with the mention "alcohol free" but I have never seen any with alcohol on don't even know what alcohol is mixed in and I'm really curious how it taste ?
My brand probably doesn't exist in your regional town but mine is simply called "Eggnog" from a regional milk producer.
You can add dark rum, cognac or bourbon (or whatever) in non-alcoholic eggnog, but traditional eggnog is actually pretty easy to make and gets better with age. Here is a recipe similar to the one I use. We've aged some batches for over a year and it works great, incredibly smooth.
Thank you :) !! Reciepe add to my favs ! Will give it a try after new year is over !!
Happy new year , cheers !
There's also this Adam Ragusea video which uses a recipe from a microbiologist, I don't drink so I've never tried it though: https://youtu.be/sflZWeCjdco
He also did a video where he tried it after two years: https://youtu.be/pUw4u5zIXDg
Thank you :) Happy new year !!
I actually made that exact recipe for Christmas. Turned out pretty good but very alcoholic.
