It is extremely sad, but he was 100 and he wouldn't live forever.

It was probably best time for him to pass away and not see how our Republic will be attacked again.

I still hope we will be able to defend it.

My grandma was 103 when she died, and she was still taken too soon. Age doesn't matter in how hard you get hit by the death of good people. There's not that many good people left in this world, so when they die, especially your heros, it still hits hard.

Now when Nixon died? Nobody gave a shit.

So, people should just be a good person, and they'll be actually missed when they're gone. I've been saying for years that we need the opposite of a obituary. Like instead of "So-n-so was a beloved and respected person who's survived by so-n-so......" instead of that it would be like "This guy was an asshole, who destroyed the world around him, and was selfish, and didn't do nothin for nobody!" So you basically get called out for your bullshit when you die. So nobody feels obligated to say nice things about you at your funeral, if you don't deserve it.

But when Carter dies? Or when Gram died? Eyes balling. Everybody telling everybody else how good of a person they were. Nice obituary. And it's always too soon.
