I got a free copy with a graphics card I bought recently, but AAA games aren't really my jam. OTOH, I would like to put the card through its paces... Chances are it will make me create yet another account somewhere to play it, so I probably won't bother with it.
No account making from the game itself, it's a fully offline single-player game. However, if the copy you got is from Microsoft store, you might have to make a Microsoft account.
Doom Eternal is an offline single player game as well. Didn't stop them to introduce an account mandate.
That said, according to the Steam page, Indiana Jones doesn't require one for now. Microsoft's gaming business is still bleeding money, so that forces them to expand the customer base as much as possible.
