I woke up around 6am this morning due to a tornado warning alert. felt the whole apartment shake. watched the wind gust, and a poor guy on an electric scooter riding during the event.

I went outside around 8am, saw some minor damage. and some large branches down the street. I live on a street full of Chinese Elms, which often drop large branches on cars.

I didn't need the alert, but do think homeless people, and people that work early on Saturday mornings benefited from it, so I'm okay with the alert.

How did it go for you?

Nope, didn't even know about the warning until a couple of minutes ago when I saw a news article.

I have "Do not disturb" mode on my phone until 8:00am, so I would have died.

But if I limit my natural disasters until after 8:00am, I will live longer.
