Really struggling to think what NEW game I bought this year... I mean, I own an Xbox Series X, PS5, Steam Deck and Switch... there must have been SOMETHING...
The idea that nothing made an impression to the point I have to check a Wiki is not a good sign.

Dragon's Dogma 2 - 3/22
Little Kitty Big City - 5/9
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics - 9/12
Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration Expanded Edition - 10/25
Marvel Rivals - 12/6
Planning on this one today:
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - 12/9
Lots of re-releases, re-masters, re-mixed which I'd argue don't count for GOTY. Not original to this year.
So, yeah, nothing new I played this year rises to GOTY.
I forget the name but going to ask did you play the Playstation advert that won game of the year?
I played the OG game that came with the PS5, it was fun! I wasn't down to pay $60 for a sequel. I might get it if there's a decent sale.
