Have we really seen the last of Groot? I feel there is so much more to tell.

Considering he is (albeit very indirectly) part of a minor plot device in Secret Invasion, I suspect Marvel plans to use him in team-ups indefinitely. Probably Rocket too.

And I'm sure as long as Chris Pratt is game, they will have at least a support role for Star Lord in anything cosmic going forward. Probably the same can be said for Zoe Saldaña's Gamora, considering how precious rare popular female superheroes are. It would be a shame to squander her, especially considering they went through such lengths to bring that character back from the dead.
