Brave Not Able to Install Extensions (lemmy.today)

Anyone else having the issue when going to the extension store, the "Add to Brave" button is grayed out?

I just installed a new Linux distro and am getting my browsers back up but I can't install any extensions, particularly Bitwarden but others have the same problem. Firefox has no issues.

Someone at the Brave forum said it could be an issue with your screen size.

Try zooming out your page and see if that helps

I had seen this but it's not quite my issue. I suppose it's worth a try none the less.

I can see the button the whole time, it's just grayed out and pressing it does nothing.

Edit: unfortunately changing the zoom of Brave and adjusting fractional scaling does nothing

How did you install Brave? Through a deb, rpm, or flatpak?

I just tried Brave in my personal machine and it seems to be working (installed through flatpak)

What extension specifically are you trying to install? And what distro do you use?

EDIT: Just noticed its Bitwarden you want to install. And this one also seems to be working fine. Maybe you could try to reset Brave? You do it by deleting the folder /.var/app/com.brave.Browser/ in home. But be careful because you lose all your browser data by doing it.

I deleted Brave and the folder and reinstalled and I was able to install extensions. Strange. Thanks!
