i think I see where the confusion is coming from. Brian the Billionaire was not innocent, and in fact as CEO had an active hand in implementing company policies to deny people healthcare and leech money from the sick and infirm. he absolutely, 100%, without a doubt deserved to die, and in my opinion, he got off relatively lightly, all things considered. two or three bullets is incredibly merciful compared to rotting in a hospital while your insurance denies your coverage and drains your bank account.
He absolutely without a doubt did NOT deserve to be murdered.
What did he deserve, then?
A life full of torture and despair.
People can boycott the company. People can organize protests. People can use other healthcare companies. People can lobby to setup other types of healthcare systems.
Murdering someone because you don't like them isn't the answer.
Ah yes, let me just boycott my health insurance provider. Since it's provided through my work, it's real easy and convenient (not to mention cheap!) to switch to a different provider. And as for socialized medicine I'm sure Congress will get right on that, just as soon as the Democrats have a majority in the Senate. What's that? They already had that and they sat with their thumbs in their asses not passing any laws because of something something bipartisanship? No matter, I'm sure it's fine. If we put them in charge again I'm sure things will be different! We just need to vote!

Who said he needs to be in jail?
What is the alternative? Letting him go around denying the requests of those people who really need, who he SHOULD be helping (cause thats healthcare's job) until they die? Just for the sake of profit? That's not justice, and him dying is not a good option either, but its the best people has, sadly.
