No doubt this could be massively improved but I sure am no writer and no usage of AI.

"This is where you will be seated for the ascension ceremony" The diplomat liaison officer gestured to the chair in front of a flag.
"Why am I not sitting in front of my country's flag?" The diplomat questioned. "That is your flag" "No, it isn't. Our flag is a red cross on it, not bars."
A senior diplomatic officer overheard the exchange and approached. "Apologies for the interruption but I organised these flags, that is indeed the flag of Georgia." The Georgian diplomat looked stunned. "Are you saying I don't know the flag of my own country?" "Not sir. The flag matches our file for the flag of Georgia." "Then your records are wrong, our flag is a red cross with a smaller cross in each quadrant on a white background."

In another part of the hall a United States diplomat was making the rounds, he was not the kind of person who misses an opportunity to mingle with other diplomats. "Marco, great to see you again. How are thing?" The US diplomat says to the Spanish representative. "Concerning, George" the Spanish representative responds "The Georgian diplomat doesn't look happy." "I'm sure he will be fine, just some nerves. Hell, even I still get it sometimes." "I will not sit there" a voice booms through the hall and the Georgian diplomat storms out the door.

"I see what you mean Marco, I wonder what that is about." Both men shrug as they run back to each other when something catches the US representatives eye. That can't be right George thought.
"Carla" George calls to his senior aid, "Does that Georgian flag look right to you?" "No sir, it looks like flag for the state of Georgia not the country." "That's what I thought, see what you can find out and try to straighten this up before we get another New Zealand incident" George said turning back to Marco.

Carla makes her way around to room to the officials is who where talking to the Georgian diplomat. "Excuse me, is everything ok?" Carla inquires. "For the most part, but the Georgian diplomat seems to be unhappy about the flag." The senior diplomatic officer responds. "Ah, I may be able to help you there. You see that flag is for the state of Georgia." "Yes, we just verified the original paperwork that is the flag they use." "I think we are getting terms mixed up. When I say the state of Georgia, I mean the state of Georgia in the United States or America. Not the soon to be European state of Georgia."

"That can't be, I verified the flag myself before requesting one from the embassy." Carla hands here phone over. "Here is the flag of the country Georgia and here is the flag of the US state of Georgia." As she swipes the tab across.

The senior diplomatic officers face drops. "What? That can't be? Two years and no one noticed, not even them?"
