  1. Be excellent to each other. Civility, No Racism, No Bigotry, No Slurs, No calls to violences, No namecalling, All that good stuff, follow lemm.ee's rules, follow the rules of your instance, etc.

  2. We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

  3. Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

I bet they’re conservative voters but wonder why the NHS has no funding

The problem with NHS is that it is free, therefore, anybody with a cold, or bruised bone seeks services. This lady wasn't dying, so she wasn't priority. It is inefficient to have free services, yet scarce resources to handle those services. The doctors feel like they are underpaid. NHS is like Soviet healthcare. Underpaid, poor services, yet it is free, which is what really matters. To make an inefficient system work, they have to triage everything. Singapore has no such problem with healthcare costs or accessibility.

The NHS worked great for decades. Whenever the Conservatives are elected, they repeatedly reduce funding. Its free at point of use. I pay national insurance every month which funds the NHS. its not funded from the magic money tree

How much do you pay per month and is it based on income? I have Great insurance that affordable but I realize not everyone does. We need to clean our system up. First we need to get PE out of health care.

I’m pcp is through Amazon and it’s amazing but it doesn’t scale. Every appointment is at least an hour. So it’s very focused on solving your needs.
