I like Shadowrun prior to the addition of the wireless world for almost the same reason a cyber security expert would keep their shit off a wider network, but in reverse.

It's more fun to have to break into the vault and connect directly to the server to hack it than by hanging out at the McDonald's on their wifi 3 blocks away.
