If you want to use Android TV without Google login you must use Android TV without Google apps installed.

Related: I've tried installing Android TV on a Pi 5, but then I didn't receive Google's 2FA notification, and after a few tries they seemingly blacklisted my device. Now the Pi uses LineageOS ATV without GApps...

don't want google apps. any idea where to get ATV without them?

edit: the konstakang thing? I'll try to run it in a VM

Yes, konstakang's build is what I used on the Pi. There's also ATV builds for Google Chromecast 4K on lineage os official website, which might work better depending on the VM.

I don't know whether there're builds alreasy available for x86.

uh, yeah, Imma pass. the way I understood it, I should build LineageOS from source specifically for the AVD and that might work. that's just too much hassle. running jellyfin-media-player in TV fullscreen mode works just fine for me. thanks anyway!
