[FFXIV] Mobile has entered Closed Beta in China. Requirements include a minimum iPhone 12 Pro and Galaxy 22.

Here's a full list taken from the site of all the requirements at the moment.
Bit disappointed it's just an alternative version rather than a port that can play with pc.
They're just going to go through the same story over time. But they're starting with ARR, this could've been an opportunity to have a playable version of the og 1.0 story.
ARR exists because 1.0 was a complete disaster. Why would they do that again?
Wasn't it more about the gameplay loop and the systems itself rather than the story though? The story is still canon to ARR and beyond
