I mean it's a pretty small city, and an even tinier Lemmy community. Anyone part of nmlug? I've been meaning to go to a meetup for a while.

I've asked myself the same question. I'm not sure, like the idea of just getting together to geek about Linux actually sound very boring (getting together for a hackathon sounds fun though). I think in reality it would be a chance to socialize with people who understand your interests better than the average bear l, and interesting topics would come up.
