The photo in the thumbnail and at the top of the article is the famous photo from McMinnville, Oregon in I want to say 1950?

Good zoom in on it here:

For decades it was derided as a flung hubcap or a couple of pie plates glued together.

The reason I bring this up is the UAP video from a few years back:

It literally looks like the same object.
