The whole Pc GaMeS aRe ChEaPeR argument is completely moot at this point. Used games, not to mention sales, mean games are similarly priced.
As for peripherals, don’t get me started on monitors, keyboard, mouse, all that fancy but useless rainbow colored LED nonsense, etc. Never mind that you’re only using those monitors for your PC. Plus, there is no guessing if a game will work on your console. If it’s released for the console, it will work for the console. No settings management needed. No needing to consider upgrading hardware to squeeze out an extra 5 FPS.
Motion blur can be disabled in almost every game. And I do because it’s absolute ass. Guess what other platform also enables motion blur by default? PC.
But sure, go on convincing yourself that your $2000 PC is somehow cheaper than my $600 console, and that your 4K120FPS somehow makes a game more enjoyable. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go lend a game to a friend and borrow one from someone else. Hey by the way, Windows updated overnight and your drivers are fucked. Have fun troubleshooting that for the next few hours.
This is decades old console coping.
