One of the better JRPGs ever done.
Follow up Lunar 1+2 with Suikoden 1+2, then Golden Sun 1+2.
(Optional) Phantasy Star 1-4.
After that, you really don't need to play any other JRPG.
Breath of Fire 3 is also an excellent, timeless JRPG
