Im guessing if your pc isn't good enough to fully run the program it would be slow as shit or something, and people would have a bad impression of it.

So, you know, lets plaster ads for it all your computer instead. That'll make a great impression!

it straight out won't install and/or work but does not properly keep track so tries again and again and rolls back again and again.

That didn't stop them from making their God awful searchIndexer default to scanning all the disks way too regularly back then, including C:, even if it was the slowest laptop HDD on earth
