My opinion? We aren’t collectively pissed off about it enough.

88 Million Americans who were eligible to vote this year didn’t. That’s about 1/3 of all eligible voters, and almost 1/4 of the entire US population.

People are broke, tired, busy, and don’t perceive what happens in government or corporations as a direct threat. They don’t have the time, energy or capacity to care enough to pay attention.

This is by design, so I’m not sure what the solution is beyond get MAD and get everyone else around you to be MAD. We outnumber them, and they don’t want us to realize it.
